So we found our puppy Cyndi! I called the lost pet hotline, made more flyers, I even put a lost ad on Craigs list. I thought I had heard Cyndi barking this morning coming from a near by garage but I couldn't tell for sure. Wuilman and I went to a couple neighbor's houses to see if they had seen her. About an hour later someone called and said they had her in their garage. They live directly in back of us. We got really lucky. I don't know if anyone even read the other post, but I just wanted to say that we found her! When we got her, Cyndi ran up to Talia and knocked her over so hard it knocked her shoe off. I wanted to get a good picture of them playing together but they are both too excited to hold still!.
Well I went to feed Cyndi (our puppy) last night and she wasn't in our yard. The last couple of days I have noticed there was a hole in in our fence where she could get into our neighbors yard.
The neighbors have a little Daschund puppy that she likes to play with. I told Wuilman about it, but didn't really think too much about it since whenever I open the door to go outside she comes running back. Well I guess she went over to the neighbors for a playdate yesterday afternoon sometime and didn't come back! When I looked into the neighbors yard I couldn't see her and the neighbors weren't home. Anyway, there is a hole in the neighbors fence that goes to the street and that goes to the next yard. So we drove around, as hopeless as it was to last night when Wuilman got home at 10:30 to try and find her, and made some lost flyers and put them all over. Talia knows that Cyndi isn't here at our house, but I don't think she knows that she probably isn't ever coming back. It's so sad, Talia will go outside and call to her. She even slept with one of the lost flyers last night! I am just super bummed out. We miss our "puppy Nene!"
Wuilman turned 30 this month! We had just gotten back from Idaho so we just hung out at the house and barbequed. I guess that is one benefit of living in Texas, that you can be outside in January without freezing! Since it was Wuilman's birthday I was going to cook one of his favorite meals from Venezuela that I've learned how to make, but when we got back he said he wanted to grill up a TON of meat. So I let him be in charge.
